The mounted glides for the opal glass scratched the glass. We had to reposition them.
The direction of the glass removal makes it impossible to remove and replace the light bulbs in an installation where there is not clearance more than the width of the fixture itself - needs double the space to change bulbs.
We had to move and remount the center bulb base so it could be accessed for bulb changing once the fixture in place.
Light given off is quite dim, despite the wattage indicated - opal glass cuts down on light emission quite a bit.
